Parking Korenmarkt, Nijmegen

For parking at Korenmarkt in Nijmegen, regular street parking in the surrounding pedestrian area is not permitted. Korenmarkt street parking rules and restrictions

Since 15 September 2025, ordinary vehicles cannot park on the street in Nijmegen’s enclosed central pedestrian area, which includes Korenmarkt. Exceptions include private property, vehicles displaying a disabled parking badge and market traders with the relevant permit. Loading and unloading is allowed only in specified time windows; it does not allow you to leave the vehicle parked.

Outside the restricted area, street parking elsewhere in central Nijmegen costs €3.90 per hour from Monday to Saturday, 09:00–23:00, and on Sundays, 12:00–18:00. Unpaid or underpaid parking can lead to a parking-tax assessment of €82 plus the cost of one hour’s parking.

Public garage parking for Korenmarkt: rates and hours

Parkeergarage Eiermarkt is a central public car park. Its rates are €3.90 per hour from 08:00 to 18:00 and €0.50 per hour from 18:00 to 08:00. The 24-hour maximum is €16 at Eiermarkt, Mariënburg and Keizer Karel garages.

Eiermarkt’s opening hours are 07:00–00:00 Monday to Wednesday, 07:00–04:00 Thursday to Saturday, and 10:00–04:00 on Sunday. For a late arrival, overnight stay or longer visit, compare pre-booked Mobypark parking as well and check its access times before setting off.
