Looking for parking Kasteel Rhijnauwen? The landgoed has several free parking lots, but they fill quickly on weekends—plan which lot to use and where to go if it’s full.

Free estate parking near Kasteel Rhijnauwen (P1, P2, P3)

For most visitors, the easiest approach is to use the marked parking areas on the estate. Parking is free, and the estate is primarily meant for visits during daytime (from sunrise to sunset).

• P1 (Oud Amelisweerd / Koningslaan access): located at the start of the access road (Koningslaan), right as you come in from the N411 toward Rhijnauwen. This lot has relatively more space.
• P2 (near the bridge / Huis Rhijnauwen – Stayokay): positioned right before the bridge over the Kromme Rijn. The number of spaces is limited, so it can fill sooner.
• P3 (by Theehuis Rhijnauwen / pannenkoekenhuis): mainly intended for Theehuis visitors. The route can pass through a narrow gate/port building area with pedestrians and cyclists, so it’s often smoother to park at P1 or P2 and walk the last part.

Find them by car: from the N411 (between Utrecht and Bunnik), turn into the Rhijnauwenselaan and continue until you see the estate parking lots on your side.

Where to park if the main lots are full

On busy weekends, estate parking fills fast. If P1 is full, try P2 first; if the landgoed lots are all full, Utrecht municipality guidance includes additional nearby parking areas.

The closest free parking to the visitor area is by Theehuis Rhijnauwen (Rhijnauwenselaan 16, Bunnik), but it’s often full on weekends and on nice days. If needed, Utrecht Science Park is an alternative—plan roughly a 15-minute walk. No matter where you park, avoid leaving valuables visible in your car; break-ins do occur.
